Having been invited by Himalayan Mountaineers & Trekkers’ Association, , the members of Uttar Dinajpur PFA arranged for an awarness camp on Snakes & Environment on 21 February, 2016 at Abdulghata Forest, Raiganj. Fifteen members of Uttar Dinajpur PFA participated in the camp. HMTA (Himalayan Mountaineers & Trekkers Association) held their four days Nature Study Camp at Abdulghat Forest where we were invited to hold the camp. In the awarness camp the students and HMTA members were identified with venomous and non-venous snakes through power-point presentation with a projector and told about our activities. They were also told what to do if they see some animal in distress.
